The Team USA captains for swimming have been revealed en route to the 2024 Paris Olympics. Katie Ledecky and Abbey Weitzel will lead the women's team, while Nic Fink and Ryan Murphy will lead the men's team at the highly anticipated Paris Games.

Katie Ledecky holds 21 world titles and seven Olympic gold medals, the highest achievement by any female swimmer in history. Her list of laurels includes world records in the 800m freestyle and 1500m freestyle, both short course and long course. At the recently concluded US Olympic Swim Trials, Ledecky qualified in the 800m freestyle, 400m freestyle, 1500m freestyle, and 200m freestyle, but she struck herself out of the 200m and is likely to take over the 800m free relay.

Nic Fink, the five-time world champion in breaststroke events, holds the world record in the 4x50m mixed medley relay and 4x100m medley relay. He earned a qualification in the 100m breaststroke and is headed to the second Olympiad of his career.

According to recent news, Ledecky and Fink are named the Team USA captains for swimming, alongside Abbey Weitzel and Ryan Murphy.

Ryan Murphy, the backstroke specialist, swept the 100m and 200m backstroke titles at the 2016 Rio Olympics. He held the world record in the 100m backstroke and added four Olympic gold medals to his repertoire from the quadrennial Games. Murphy will headline the 100m and 200m backstroke roster at the Paris Olympics.

Abbey Weitzel, the American record holder in the 50-yard freestyle, won multiple Olympic medals as part of the relay teams. She has qualified in the 400m freestyle relay and is headed to her third Summer Games.

The Team USA captains for swimming attended the training camp in North Carolina 10 days ago. They have now landed in Croatia for their second training camp ahead of Paris.
