She then won the all-around event, finishing ahead of Rebeca Andrade and Suni Lee. The 27-year-old's third gold came in the vault event, where she edged out Andrade, while Jade Carey claimed bronze.

Jonathan Owens was present to watch his wife compete and win medals in the French capital. Owens spoke on the same while appearing on his Chicago Bears teammate Kevin Byard's podcast "Intercepted with Kevin Byard".

The 29-year-old was asked about his favorite moments in Paris and he spoke about the culture and Simone Biles' triumphs. Owen said that he was in tears of joy.

"Honestly man just being like, in the culture man, and obviously just seeing her get those three gold medals man, that was like, incredible. I was, you know, in tears of joy up there for, I mean, her family," Owens said.
"Afterwards, me and all her family, we all pictures with her medal and, just even holding it, bro I'm like... it's heavier than you think, and it's like, they made, a piece of it is from the Eiffel Tower, so they all have a piece of the Eiffel Tower on the Paris gold medals," he added.
