During her electrifying performance at the Athlos NYC, the American rapper and singer Megan Thee Stallion took a moment to recognize the incredible talents of Gabby Thomas, Brittany Brown, and other athletes at the event. Following the six races, including 100m hurdles, 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, and 1500m, the rapper concluded the one-day female-only event with her captivating performance.
The Athlos NYC's debut edition was headlined by Paris Olympic gold medalist Gabby Thomas and featured multiple other elite athletes, including Brown, Faith Kipyegon, Alaysha Johnson, Jasmine Camacho-Quinn, Masai Russell, Celera Barnes, Daryll Neita, Lieke Klaver, Alexis Holmes, Tsige Duguma, and Tamara Clark.
Serena Williams' husband and Reddit's co-founder Alexis Ohanian's Athlos NYC celebrated women's sports with an all-female roster of athletes, broadcast crew, and the female rapper who honored the athletes during her performance.
Thee Stallion addressed the female athletes as "superstar ladies" and recognized their hard work and talent.
“Give it up for all the superstar ladies in the building right now — all my female athletes, y’all be working.. looking good while doing it," Thee Stallion said during her performance.

Gabby Thomas opened up on the reason that made her join the Athlos NYC's debut edition.
In an interview with Citius Mag, she recognized Alexis Ohanian as a visionary, stating she loved the idea of the meet and saw it as a perfect opportunity for women's sports to shine.
“When Alexis first came to me, I was really excited about the idea," Thomas said. "He's obviously a visionary and has a great track record in supporting and investing in women's sport so I thought it perfect opportunity for track and field. I knew we had a great product."
She added:
"Alexis was really eager to learn about it and he wanted to learn about what we wanted to see in track meets, what we wanted to see happen, and what we could do better in this sport."
Gabby Thomas secured second place in the 200m event after clocking 22.21 seconds to follow Brittany Brown, posting 22.18 seconds.
