USA Swimming at Paris Olympics 2024: Preview, full schedule and how & where to watch live action

Swimming at the Paris Olympics 2024 will be quite an extraordinary affair, and Team USA will be sending a strong contingent packed with seasoned Olympic medalists as well as youngsters who are ready to make their mark. Leading the charge will be Katie Ledecky and Caeleb Dressel, the two most decorated swimmers on the roster.

Ledecky will head into the Games as a favorite to win gold in the 800m and 1500m freestyle and is expected to make the podium for the 400m free as well. The 27-year-old already has 10 Olympic medals to her name, seven of which are gold, and is expected to add to this collection in Paris.

Joining Ledecky in leading the charge for the American women's swim team will be fellow veterans Simone Manuel and Lilly King. Meanwhile, first-time Olympian Gretchen Walsh is also expected to impress at the Games.

On the men's end, seven-time Olympic medalist Caeleb Dressel will spearhead the American challenge alongside four-time champion Ryan Murphy. Other Olympic gold medalists on the team include Bobby Finke, Chase Kalisz, Blake Pieroni, Hunter Armstrong, and Brooks Curry.

Fans in America looking to cheer for Team USA as they take to the water at the Paris Olympics will be able to catch all of the live action on NBC and NBC's Peacock. Live streams of the competition will also be available on NBCOlympics.com, NBC.com, the NBC Olympics app, as well as the NBC app.

Additionally, the USA Network will also broadcast some of the swimming heats that take place outside of primetime coverage.
