On June 9, 2025, Sean "Diddy" Combs' ex-girlfriend "Jane" testified in court that the rapper still pays her rent and legal fees. The testimony comes as part of Combs' ongoing s*x trafficking trial, where he faces multiple charges, including racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution. Combs has pleaded not guilty to all the charges.
According to Variety, Jane testified that Combs was still paying her $10,000 rent for her home in Los Angeles, as well as her legal fees for testifying against Diddy. She stated that Combs used financial "leverage" to control her and coerce her into various activities.
Social media personality Melanie King took to her YouTube channel to react to Jane's testimony. She described her claims as a "stunner," stating,
"Jane dropped a stunner. Diddy still pays her rent today, and... for her lawyers today, including the one representing her in this trial while she's testifying against Diddy."
King also stated that this arrangement began before the March 2024 raids by Homeland Security Investigations at Combs' house.
More about Jane's testimony at the Diddy trial
According to The Independent, Sean "Diddy" Combs' ex-girlfriend took the stand and testified against Combs under the pseudonym "Jane." She detailed a three-year relationship that was allegedly defined by financial control, coercion, and humiliating sexual requests.
Jane's account, which echoes allegations made in court by Cassie Ventura before her, paints a portrait of Combs' alleged manipulation.
Jane, who dated Combs from 2021 to 2024, said she was subjected to repeating a routine of marathon s*x parties, which she called "hotel nights" or "freak-offs," in which she would be coerced to participate in acts with male escorts while Combs watched. These encounters, sometimes lasting multiple days, left her physically and emotionally drained, she testified.
According to the BBC, prosecutors brought forward text messages in which Jane frequently expressed unease about the encounters, only for Combs to allegedly retort that he would cease her $10,000 monthly rent fund, an arrangement that still exists to this day. Jane disclosed that the duo signed a "love contract," under which Combs agreed to provide for her for two years. However, she stated that he used it against her as leverage when she refused to fulfill his requests.
Jane's testimony also implicated Combs' inner circle in facilitating these encounters. As per the BBC, his chief of staff, Kristina Khorram, later named by prosecutors as a co-conspirator, reportedly ordered her to transport drugs from Los Angeles to Miami for Combs.
She also testified that Combs' assistants and security team routinely procured drugs for the "hotel nights," which she said she used to numb herself during the encounters.
According to The Independent, Combs' legal team has consistently asserted that Jane and other accusers had consensual encounters. They have also tried to attack the credibility of witnesses, most recently asking for a mistrial over a testimony from Bryana Bongolan, who alleged Combs held her over the edge of a balcony — a fact the defense says is "demonstrably false" based on travel records.
