America’s Got Talent season 19 concluded on September 24, 2024, as the winner of the latest season was announced. In the last episode that aired on September 17, ten acts showcased their talents in a two-hour-long episode as this season's judges Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, and Sofia Vergara, saw their favorite contestants vying for the one million dollar prize.

The 10 finalists who are competing to win America’s Got Talent were AIRFOOTWORKS (dance) and Brent Street (dance), Hakuna Matata Acrobats (acrobatics), Richard Goodall (singer), Learnmore Jonasi (comedian), Solange Kardinaly (quick change artist), Roni Sagi & Rhythm (dog act), Sebastian & Sonia (aerial duo), Dee Dee Simon (singer), and Sky Elements (drone group).

The live show also saw various celebrities including Olympic gold medalist Simone Biles & the Gold Over America Tour, Michael Bublé, Journey member Neal Schon, DJ Steve Aoki, Gabriel Iglesias, the cast of Magic Mike Live Las Vegas, Andra Day, and former America’s Got Talent act Detroit Youth Choir.

What happened in America’s Got Talent season 19 finale?

Sky Elements kicked off the America's Got Talent finale with a drone show outside the venue, joined by the Detroit Youth Choir performing High Hopes. Host Terry Crews even danced along. Simone Biles then took the stage with Terry, sharing what it takes to be a winner. AIRFOOTWORKS performed with Grammy-nominee DJ Steve Aoki, energizing the crowd. The judges were amazed as Hakuna Matata Acrobats and Roni Sagi & Rhythm performed together, followed by Brent Street's performance.

Michael Bublé performed L.O.V.E. from his latest greatest hits album The Best Of Bublé which will be out on September 27. Keeping with the theme of singers performing on stage, Andra Day also performed her latest song Probably with the aerial duo Sebastian & Sonia accompanying the music with it.

After performing the song, Andra introduced the Detroit Youth Choir again who performed The Beatles' Come Together with this season's America’s Got Talent contestant Dee Dee Simon singing the main vocals.

Richard Goodall introduced himself to the world when he sang Journey's famous song Don’t Stop Believin’ on the auditions of America’s Got Talent. He performed on the same song with the only difference being that he was joined by Journey's guitarist Neal Schon and other members of the band.

Zimbabwean comedian Learnmore Jonasi has made a name for himself by performing jokes that work for the whole family. He received a phone call from popular standup comedian Gabriel Iglesias who invited him to Las Vegas to perform live on stage at The Chelsea Theater inside The Cosmopolitan with him.

Solange Kardinaly performed with the members of Magic Mike Live and showcased her talents of quickly changing clothes. Simone Biles took the stage with Jade Carey, Jordan Chiles, Hezly Rivera, Paul Juda, Brody Malone, and Fred Richard, who are part of the Gold Over America Tour as they performed a medley of tumbling tricks on America’s Got Talent.

Before announcing the results, the host Terry Crews showcased heartwarming messages from the relatives and friends of the contestants hoping to become the winner of America's Got Talent season 19. The 5 acts that were eliminated were announced first and they were:

  • Brent Street - 10th place
  • Sebastian and Sonia - 9th place
  • DeeDee Simon - 8th place
  • Hakuna Matata Acrobats - 7th place
  • AIRFOOTWORKS - 6th place

While the top 5 acts were:

  • Learnmore Jonasi - 5th place
  • Solange Kardinaly - 4th place
  • Sky Elements - 3rd place
  • Roni Sagi and Rhythm - 2nd place
  • Richard Goodall - Winner

The singer Richard Goodall won the season 19 of America's Got Talent and ultimately won the $1 million prize.
