Lily had a lot to say to his husband and wanted the two of them to be on the same page, understanding each other's feelings. She told Josh that he made her angry when they argued. In moments of frustration, she bursted out and told him that she wanted to leave him.

Josh's visa didn't allow him to work in the country, so Lily had to be the sole breadwinner in their relationship. This deeply affected Josh, making him feel insecure and worried that Lily might look down on him because of it.
Additionally, the 90 Day Fiancé star struggled to build a strong bond with Lily’s daughter, who believed he wasn’t affectionate enough toward her mother. However, by the end of the season, Lily and Josh appeared to be on the same page.
