During Jackie's visit, Nate discussed his recent date with Lisa. He said that he had a "real good vibe" during the date and wanted to make sure that they had fun. However, he took a step back when he found out that she had two kids in their 30s and they were living with her.

He mused that if he got together with Lisa, then her children would move in with her and he didn't want that. Nate added that he wanted an empty nester and was trying to "relinquish children altogether" and live his best life.
