Episode 14 of Love Island USA season 7, which aired on June 17, 2025, featured another elimination following a pivotal recoupling ceremony. As tensions continued to rise inside the villa, the Islanders faced another round of difficult decisions shaped by recent developments and fractured connections.

By the end of the episode, Jalen Brown was dumped from the Love Island USA villa following a group vote. His departure came after a series of unexpected recoupling choices, leaving Huda Mustafa and him vulnerable and exposing deeper divisions within the group.

Episode and elimination overview on Love Island USA season 7

Tensions rise after unresolved conflicts

The disagreement between Huda Mustafa and Jeremiah Brown remained a central focus as the episode opened. Their unresolved issues, which began in episode 13, created tension that extended beyond their relationship.

Huda was visibly upset after Jeremiah recoupled with Iris Kendall, and she expressed frustration over how quickly he moved on. During a group discussion in the Love Island USA villa, Huda raised her voice and walked away from a conversation with Chelley Bissainthe and Amaya Espinal, which added further strain to her standing with the other girls.

The male Islanders also reacted to the situation. Jeremiah explained to Ace Greene and Nic Vansteenberghe that he felt emotionally drained and believed Huda had disrespected him in previous days. This explanation prompted several Islanders to question Huda’s position in the group.

Recoupling ceremony brings unexpected pairings

In a format designed to raise the stakes, the girls stood behind closed doors while the male Islanders opened one door to reveal their chosen partner.

A few recouplings followed expected patterns: Nic Vansteenberghe chose to stay with Cierra Ortega, and Ace Greene officially coupled with Chelley Bissainthe after previous indecision. Austin Shepard selected Amaya Espinal, continuing their connection from recent episodes.

Other choices signaled a shift in dynamics. Hannah Fields chose to recouple with Pepe Garcia, while Taylor Williams returned to Olandria Carthen, choosing to reconnect with his previous partner over continuing with a new connection.

As the recoupling narrowed, Jeremiah faced a decision between Huda and Iris Kendall. After a brief period of reflection, he picked Iris, ending his connection with Huda and leaving her standing alone.

At the end of the ceremony, Huda and Jalen were the two Islanders left unmatched. Host Ariana Madix directed them to step forward and join her at the fire pit, where she announced that the remaining Islanders would determine who would stay in the villa and who would be dumped.

This format placed a collective decision in the hands of the group rather than allowing the public or the recoupling to determine the result.

Jalen is eliminated as the group votes to save Huda

The Love Island USA final vote resulted in a tally of 8 to 4 in favor of keeping Huda, leading to Jalen’s elimination. Jeremiah, Nic, Pepe, and Austin voted to keep Jalen, citing concerns about Huda’s place in the Love Island USA villa, but the majority chose to keep her, allowing her to remain for another day.

The decision reflected the Islanders' evaluation of who they believed still had potential for connection. Following the vote, Huda returned to the group, while Jalen said his goodbyes and exited the villa. His short time in the villa included a brief connection with Olandria, but the pairing did not gain traction with the group.
