Love is Blind Habibi premiered on Netflix on October 10, focusing on Arabian singles seeking love beyond physical appearance. Some singles got engaged, while others left heartbroken. Safa and Mohammed were among the couples who got engaged in the pods. They went on vacation with the other engaged couples to see if they were truly compatible.
Besides talking about meeting each other's family, the couple also discussed their living situation after their marriage. Safa was working on a project in Iraq and would have to travel to the country weekly. While talking about the situation, Safa said in her confessional:
"Mohammad, the more I get to know him, the more I like him. But the issue is that the job that I'm doing right now, I really love,... and it means a lot to me. I need to find a solution for sure."
Love is Blind Habibi star Safa explains her travel situation
Love is Blind Habibi star Safa and Mohammed reunited after getting engaged in episode 4. Coming straight out of the pods the couple had a lot on their mind they they wanted to share with their partner.
After exchanging light-hearted compliments, Mohammed brought up Safa's work situation in Iraq and how they would manage it. He expressed concern about them being apart and asked about her travel schedule.
Safa explained she would leave every Sunday, flying from Dubai to Basra, and return on Wednesday or Thursday, with this schedule continuing for over three years.
"So I leave on Sunday. Every Sunday. The flight is in the morning. And I come back either Thursday or Wednesday. And then again. Repeat and repeat and repeat. That's gonna be for three years," Safa informed Mohammed.
Mohammed asked her if her travel situation could change or if it was impossible. To this, Safa replied that it could change if she found a "different project in a different company." She added that they could wait and figure out how things work out for them.
The Love is Blind Habibi contestant further suggested that she could stay one week in Dubai and the other in Iraq. To her possible solution, Mohammed questioned:
"But won't that be very exhausting for you? When you settle down and what not, it will be too much. You'll have to live in two places... You know what I mean? Don't you wanna feel at home?"
Safa then shared in her confessional that while she liked Mohammed, she loved her current job which meant a lot to her. She further added that she would need to find a solution to the whole situation to make things work with her Love is Blind Habibi fiance.
Concluding their conversation, Mohammed told Safa:
"Distance is tough, and I don't want to be far from you. You get my point? Decide what suits you best, you know? I told you before that I won't interfere in your work. And I really want you, okay?"
