Episode 8 of The Real Housewives of Potomac season 9 was released on November 24. Titled Healing, Thriving, and Surviving, it documented Ashley crying over her custody battle for her son, Michael. Karen's DUI court case got another date, while developments were seen in Stacey's divorce procedures.
The episode also witnessed an interaction between Mia and Wendy's mother. This was the first time they talked face-to-face after calling each other out on social media. Wendy's mom, Iyom, took to Instagram to shade Mia after the latter hit Wendy with a bag, ending their long-reigning fight.
When they two confronted each other in episode 8, Wendy's mother recalled the time when Mia called her a crow last season. She said that she didn't do things a crow did, but did pray to Jesus. Fans of The Real Housewives of Potomac took to X to react to this interaction. Most of them thought Wendy's mom gave Mia an apt answer, while some even found it funny.

The interaction between Mia and Wendy's mom on The Real Housewives of Potomac season 9 episode 8
Mia walked up to Wendy's mom, Iyom, at the party on The Real Housewives of Potomac season 9 episode 8. She said she hadn't seen her since they exchanged some words on X (formerly Twitter). She said she just wanted to say hi to her, to which Iyom asked her how life was treating her, and said:
"You have my prayers. For months I put you in my prayers. When you ask God to forgive somebody. Especially, if they called you out of your name".
Mia then admitted that some of the things that she said about her on X weren't nice of her. This was when Iyom brought up Mia's comment last season where she called her a flying crow, Wendy's mom. Mia immediately apologized to her, but she said:
"I'm not a witch...I do not fly. I'll tell you what I do, I get up and pray...I pray in the name of Jesus".
In The Real Housewives of Potomac confessional, Mia said that she forgot Iyom wanted her to apologize for her "crow" comment.
