Tucker Des Lauriers walks away with $50,000 as America's Favorite Player in Big Brother season 26

Tucker Des Lauriers, who was evicted on Day 45 became America's Favorite Player and earned $50,000. He previously also won $20,000 as the A.I. Instigator and took home $70,000.

The eliminated contestant spoke to Parade Magazine about being voted America's Favorite Player after the finale. He said that he was surprised but had a "good feeling." He added that when he looked up polls online, he saw multiple houseguests who could potentially win the honor, including Angela, Leah, Quinn, and Chelsie. He added that he was just "crossing" his fingers and doing as many posts as possible to stay "relevant."

"And I really am grateful and blessed and honored to feel like I have left somewhat of a mark on this game. I didn't model it after anyone else's. I was just being me," he said.

The Big Brother season 26 houseguest said that he was able to play the game as his "wild, dumb, goofy, weird, competitive self." He added that it made him feel "understood," and he appreciated being heard, especially by so many people.

Fans of Big Brother season 26 reacted to Tucker being named America's Favorite Player and were divided. While some believed he deserved it, others believed Angela was more deserving.
