As reported by Oxygen, in November 2000, a teenager named Ellie Harris first visited Dr. Mann's chamber after hurting her back. The patient had a history of drug abuse and was in the recovery process.

The two medications, namely alprazolam and hydrocodone, were intended to relieve her pain, but Ellie soon developed an opioid addiction. On January 30, 2002, Ellie died due to a drug overdose. Toxicology reports revealed that she had lethal amounts of the medications in her bloodstream.

Soon after, several overdose cases began to emerge around Russellville, Arkansas. The medication bottles retrieved from the victims were found to have been prescribed by Dr. Mann. As reported by Oxygen, one of the victims struggling with addiction was Shelly Green.

As reported by Oxygen, one of Dr. Mann's victims was named Shelly Green. Around six months after her treatment with the doctor, she had fully developed a severe drug addiction.

Reportedly, Shelly was prescribed medicines including oxycodone, Xanax, methadone, and hydrocodone. As per Oxygen, in May 2002, Shelly Green was rushed to the hospital after being found unresponsive on her bed. She eventually recovered and was released but continued to struggle with her addiction.

Subsequently, Shelly's sister, Melody Bucker, filed a police report after discovering medication bottles in Shelly's purse that were prescribed under her name. During questioning, Shelly revealed that Dr. Mann gave her the medicines under Melody Bucker's name in the prescription.

Shelly further revealed that she would visit Dr. Mann's clinic during closing hours. There, Dr. Randeep Mann would inject her with Demerol and engage in s*x with her in exchange for more drugs from his stack.

During the investigation, Lieutenant Daniel also found that many informants from the narcotics department were also Dr. Randeep Mann's patients.


3) Dr. Randeep Mann's license was suspended by the Arkansas State Medical Board

As reported by Oxygen, in August 2003, Dr. Randeep Mann was called by the Arkansas State Medical Board, which included several medical professionals led by its chairman, Dr. Trent Pierce.

In October 2003, the board held a vote that resulted in the suspension of Dr. Mann's DEA license. However, he soon engaged in a legal battle, and his license was reinstated before being revoked again in 2004. Soon, the number of overdose cases in the Russellville area began to rise quickly.

As reported by Oxygen, five months after Dr. Mann started practicing, Shelly Green was once again found in possession of a large quantity of drugs. She was arrested and spent almost a year in prison. After her release, she continued visiting Dr. Mann's clinic.

As per Oxygen, in October 2005, Shelly Green suffered another overdose. The next year, in July 2006, Dr. Mann was again called by the Arkansas State Medical Board, and his DEA license was suspended once more.


4) Dr. Randeep Mann planned a murder through bombing for Dr. Trent Pierce

As reported by Oxygen, Dr. Trent Pierce was the chairman of the Arkansas State Medical Board, which was responsible for suspending Dr. Randeep Mann's DEA license. To take his revenge, Dr. Mann placed a military grenade under the spare tire of Dr. Pierce's car.

On February 4, 2009, the bomb detonated, leaving Dr. Trengy severely injured with compound fractures in his leg. He was immediately rushed to the hospital.

When authorities started the investigation, they reached the Arkansas State Medical Board and discovered that Dr. Mann's license had recently been suspended. Given his history of crimes, Dr. Randeep Mann was interrogated at his home. However, he provided an alibi, which initially prevented authorities from taking further action.

5) Dr. Randeep Mann was arrested and sentenced to a lifetime behind bars

As reported by Oxygen, a month after Dr. Mann was interrogated, a city worker discovered 98 grenades buried near his residence. Authorities obtained a search warrant and found multiple boxes of ammunition stacked with grenades near Dr. Mann's property. They also found a spare tire, which they believed he had used to practice installing the explosives.

According to the official website of the United States Attorney's Office, Eastern District of Arkansas, on August 9, 2010, Randeep Mann was convicted on multiple charges, including using a weapon of mass destruction against Dr. Trent Pierce and his vehicle, obstruction of justice, and possessing unregistered weapons.

United States District Judge Brian Miller sentenced Randeep Mann to life imprisonment, along with 360 months for two bombing-related counts, five years for obstruction, and 10 years for three weapons charges.
