As reported by Oxygen, the first victim of Dr. Mann was a teenager named Ellie Harris. As reported by her mother, Teresa Harris, Ellie suffered from drug addiction and had to be admitted into a rehab when she was 18 years old, and stayed for multiple weeks.

It was in November 2000 when Ellie Harris had a back injury and booked an appointment with Dr. Randeep Mann. The American Monster: Abuse of Power, subject Dr. Mann had a clinic around the neighborhood of Russellville, Arkansas, at that time.

As reported by Oxygen, after Ellie shared her history of addiction, Dr. Mann prescribed her medications, including alprazolam and hydrocodone. However, Ellie soon began showing symptoms of opioid addiction.

It was on January 30, 2002, when Ellie Harris died due to a drug overdose. When her toxicological reports came out, they showed that the victim's bloodstream had lethal amounts of medications. However, as reported by the victim's mother, Teresa, when she reached out to Dr. Mann, he brushed off the topic completely, adding that he had no control over his patients.

Until then, Dr. Mann was not convicted by the authorities, while the cases of drug overdoses around the area of Russellville began to increase. When the authorities were informed about the cases, they found that the victims were consuming bottles of medications prescribed by the American Monster: Abuse of Power subject, Dr. Mann.

As reported by Oxygen, authorities found a victim named Shelly Green, who reportedly became an addict, six months into Dr. Mann's treatment. Investigators found that she was prescribed a combination of methadone, xanax, oxycodone, and hydrocodone.

It was in May 2002, when she was rushed into an ER, after she was discovered unresponsive on the bed. Authorities found that she was administering Demerol, which can only be accessed through a physician.

She made a recovery and was released, but turned to addiction again. As reported by Oxygen, similar to the other victims, her sister Bucker found pills inside her purse, which were intended for her. Bucker filed a report to the police, and authorities found that Dr. Mann was providing medicines to Green, with Bucker's name on the prescription.

Upon interrogation, Shelly Green revealed that the American Monster: Abuse of Power subject, Dr. Mann, would have s*x with her in exchange for medicines. Lieutenant Glenn Daniel from the Russellville Police Department found that many of the informants from the narcotics department were also Dr. Mann's patients and confessed to suffering from similar drug addiction.

Shelly Green was again caught with drugs and received almost a year of imprisonment. It was in October 2005 when Shelly overdosed due to her ongoing drug abuse.

As reported by Oxygen, it was on February 4, 2009, when a bomb detonated in Dr. Pierce's front yard, while he was leaving for work. This incident left him severely injured, and he was immediately rushed to the hospital. When authorities came onto the scene, they found a military grenade set up in the spare tire of the vehicle.

When Dr Mann was interrogated, he provided an alibi, and the police were unable to charge them. However, a city worker found a box of 98 grenades buried inside the doctor's residence a month later.

When authorities searched the doctor's residence, they found multiple ammunition boxes of grenades buried there. Dr. Randeep Mann was arrested and charged with eight counts.
