One of their mutual friends named Alisha revealed that Bryce was in a relationship with a girl for two and a half years. As per her testimony, the victim, Britney, considered Bryce to be her big brother.

Bryce Dickey revealed that after the s*xual encounter, he dropped the victim near a trailer park with the man whom he named as Chaz Randall. However, as reported by Oxygen, authorities found numerous inconsistencies in the story provided by the Dateline: Unforgettable culprit, Bryce Dickey.

From the surveillance footage, authorities found that Dickey drove the car past the high school entrance where he claimed to have dropped Britney Ujlaky. Soon, they found that the description of the tall man was completely made up.
As reported by the Elko Daily, when authorities interrogated Bryce Dickey, they found a pair of boots smeared in blood in his closet. Additionally, a knife and a bloody sweatshirt were retrieved from the toolbox of his truck.
