The Penguin season 1 is a spin-off series from the 2022 film, The Batman. The series is created by Lauren LeFranc and is set one week after the events of the movie. The highly-anticipated show explores Oswald Cobblepot a.k.a Penguin's rise to power in Gotham City's criminal underworld. It depicts his origin story as he transforms from a mid-level mobster into a formidable crime kingpin, who becomes one of Batman's greatest adversaries.
