Episode 8 of What We Do In The Shadows season 6, titled P.I. Undercover: New York, was released on FX on November 25, 2024. The latest episode of the series deals with two plots simultaneously, one concerning Nandor, Laszlo, and Guillermo, and the other concerning Colin Robinson and Nadja.
As the episode opens, the Staten Island territory of the vampires is found to be crowded by a camera crew. This is not the crew that films the vampires but one that is shooting at the place for a popular police procedural series.
It quickly becomes clear that Nandor and Laszlo are not really fond of the fact that the TV people have flocked to their place of residence and are interfering with their lives. They conspire to stop the shooting process. By the end of the latest episode of What We Do in the Shadows season 6, the shooting stops.
What We Do In The Shadows season 6 episode 8 ending: Nandor and Laszlo are successful
Towards the beginning of the episode, Nandor walks into the room telling Colin and Laszlo that they have been attacked by enemies. Colin assures him that the unwanted guests are people from the television industry who are here to shoot an episode of the popular series P.I. Undercover: New York.
Nandor and Laszlo decide that they must stop the shooting anyway, and this quest forms the principal plotline of episode 8 of What We Do in the Shadows season 6. However, their mission proves a difficult one as Nandor, instead of going into the assistant director’s trailer and killing him, ends up getting a role in the production.
He also gets a sweatshirt from the film’s production house, and this makes Laszlo jealous. The latter thinks that Nandor has forgotten his cause and started loving his new job. They even fight towards the end of the episode.
After their fighting stops, they come out of the trailer and see that the filming crew has left the place. Thus, their mission has technically been fulfilled, even though they themselves cannot take much credit for the same.

Colin has a mission of his own
Just when Nandor and Laszlo are busy searching for whoever is heading the entire shooting process, Colin Robinson is preparing himself in front of the mirror. He tells us that he is about to meet his friend Joel after a long time.
Joel and Colin used to work at the same office once upon a time, but Joel is the only person whose energy the energy vampire has not drained. Nadja, meanwhile, barges into Colin’s room and expresses her desire to go to the dinner as well.
Nadja poses as Colin’s girlfriend, and together they go meet Joel and his wife, Becky. Nadja, after joining Cannon Capital Strategies, has started taking delight in human interactions. Thus, she goes out of her way to make small talk with Becky in the kitchen.
Meanwhile, the male friends are going through an awkward moment in the drawing room as Joel tells Colin that his wife has had a thing for him and outright asks Colin to have s*x with his wife. When Colin looks at him in disbelief, Joel assures him that this is what Becky herself wants.
The latest episode of What We Do in the Shadows season 6 shows Becky relentlessly flirting with an increasingly uncomfortable Colin. When Colin and Nadja leave, the former tells the hosts that he would be back again next week.
