Adin Ross hosted the 45th President of the United States, Donald Trump in a record-breaking livestream, on August 5, 2024. The stream went viral, with numerous instances from the broadcast spreading across the internet like wildfire. Adin and Trump were all over TikTok, Instagram, and X after the stream ended. Now, Presidential candidate, Kamala Harris has joined the streaming bandwagon.
Considering that the 'Adin X Trump' broadcast accrued about 580,000 concurrent viewers at one point, many of which were first-time voters, Kamala Harris' pivot in this direction makes sense. Trump was able to tap into Adin's young audience, potentially motivating them to enter the landscape of American politics.
Similarly, it seems Harris intends to use Twitch to increase the public's confidence in the Democratic party.
