IRL Kick streamer MikeSmallsJr had been chasing Hurricane Milton in Florida ever since Adin Ross seemingly promised content creators $70,000 if they could livestream through the storm. To that end, he set up an air mattress in a tent and broadcast his endeavor from Tampa, where authorities have asked citizens to evacuate.

However, MikeSmallsJR was in for disappointment as Ross told him in the chat that there was no monetary prize for him for chasing the hurricane. This frustrated the Kick streamer, who started dissing Ross:

"Adin Ross just commented and said he is not paying me, what the f**k? What? Wait, wait, wait! What? There is no f**king way. Ni**a f**k you, f**k you."

The content creator claimed that Ross had "scammed" him while he was risking his life to feed his family:

"I am out here risking my life to feed my family and you bail on me like that? Ni**a f**k you! F**k that ni**a. Ni**a just scammed me, that's f**ked up."

Adin Ross clarifies his $70,000 Hurricane Milton challege is only for certain Kick streamer, advises others to go home

MikeSmallsJr has streamed from hurricane-affected areas in the past, having gone live last month during Hurricane Helene. Clips of him battling the incoming water and winds sweeping his tent went viral at the time. Now that Hurricane Milton had started making landfall in Florida, it seems the Kick streamer traveled to Tampa to complete Adin Ross' supposed $70,000 challenge.

For those wondering, Ross had previously talked about a cash prize for Kick streamers who track Hurricane Milton and broadcast it on the platform. It seems the challenge was targeted at a select group rather than the general public.

When MikeSmallsJr started streaming in the storm, Ross sent him a message in chat, claiming that no one would be getting paid for such a feat. He also advised the content creator to get to safety, stating:

"Bro. Nobody getting paid, leave. Evacuate save yourself brother."

Adin Ross even posted on his alternate account on X (@AR15thed3mon), saying the Hurrican Milton-chasing challenge was only directed at two specific streamers and that all the others should just go home.

MikeSmallsJr was not the only Kick streamer who was in Florida deliberately chasing the Hurricane Milton. Another content creator from the platform, Shoovy, not only streamed from the state during the storm but also broke into a house and got arrested for trespassing and resisting an officer.
