YouTube streamer Ludwig took to his alternative YouTube account (Ludwin) to offer an update regarding his upcoming project, The Streamer Games. This event, which will be streamed on both YouTuber and Twitch (Mogul Mail), is set to go live later today (August 17, 2024) and will end tomorrow (August 18). Ludwig also shed light on some financial troubles concerning The Streamer Games.

The streamer revealed that he has been losing money by hosting the event. One of the main reasons behind this is his severing ties with a sponsorship deal he had with Feastables, the MrBeast-owned chocolate brand. Here's what the streamer said:

"This event is losing money. But it wasn't always that way. We had three big partners for this event. The first one was Red Bull, they're the main sponsor. Shout out to Red Bull. The second one is Streamlabs."

He then spoke about the deal with MrBeast:

"We had an agreement with Feastables for a big sum of money, six-figures, that we are no longer doing, which is amicable. I talked to MrBeast, and I talked to the Feastables team to separate but the fact remains that because of that, it is now going to lose a lot."

Why did Ludwig drop MrBeast's sponsorship from The Streamer Games?

Ludwig hasn't explicitly stated the reason behind his decision to sever ties with Feastables, the MrBeast-owned brand. However, considering the ongoing controversies surrounding the most-subscribed YouTuber, it's possible that he wanted to distance himself from any potential trouble.

For context, MrBeast is currently facing a series of allegations, including hiring a sex offender, hosting illegal lotteries and giveaways, and faking his videos. Ludwig reacted to all of this last week (August 10, 2024), stating that he "won't be able to support" Jimmy unless he addresses the drama:

"I think Jimmy needs to make a reply. He technically doesn't need to because he uploaded a video that got 120 million views and he could continue to upload videos without ever replying and continue to get hundreds of millions of views but I won't be able to support him. I won't support him in any way, shape or form."

Despite the serious allegations and controversy, MrBeast has not yet issued any public statement addressing the issue. Reportedly, DogPack404 is set to release further videos about the YouTuber.
