Jimmy Donaldson, better known as MrBeast, has come under fire after a clip from the Hot Wet Soup podcast from a few years ago, where the YouTuber seemingly made unsavory comment sabout rapper Bhad Bhabie, went viral on social media. This comes days after a member of his team, Ava Kris Tyson, was accused of sending inappropriate messages to a minor.
While Ava Kris Tyson has left the team citing the pedophilia allegations, MrBeast finds himself in the middle of yet another scandal. The clip in question has garnered a lot of negative attention after it was uploaded to X by @clippedszn and @DramaAlert.
In the clip, an allegedly 19-year-old MrBeast can be heard making a sexual joke about the then-underaged Bhad Bhabie.
Amid the recent Ava Kris Tyson grooming controversy, many have come out criticizing MrBeast for his comment on Bhad Bhabie, who was about 14 years old in 2017.
Here are some of the comments from fans expressing their disappointment with the popular YouTuber:
"I thought Jimmy was one of the good ones," said X user @imvurnus after questioning the veracity of the clip.
"I didn’t expect tho from Mr beast," commented @WorldHallOfFun.
"JIMMY IS COOKED," noted @ViolentFight.
Many fans hoped the clip was fake.
"@MrBeast wtf I thought this was gonna be fake," said @murderpartyy
"Pls let it be AI," hoped @heyzuestv
"Nah bruh please say this is ai or at least just a edgy joke," asked @EquityDwastaken
Is the MrBeast clip about Bhad Bhabie real? YouTuber in hot water for comments made on a podcast from years ago
Note: Sensitive content ahead. Readers' discretion is advised.
The Hot Wet Soup podcast ran between 2017 and 2018 with most episodes available on YouTube. The clip where MrBeast makes the comments about Bhad Bhabie came from episode 26, titled Clickbait Cast.
After the clip went viral, many naturally questioned whether it was AI-generated and/or had been manipulated in some way. While the 26th episode has been removed from the official Hot Wet Soup YouTube account, a copy is preserved on archive.org.

Owner of @DramaAlert and YouTube commentator Keemstar has also claimed that the joke made by MrBeast is real, posting screenshots of the transcript while trying to debunk a community note on the post.
