Veteran YouTube personality Nicholas Perry, aka Nikocado Avocado, debuted his startling new look in his YouTube video on Saturday, September 7. In the 25-minute segment, the YouTuber took off his Mr. Panda mask to show his transformation.
He revealed that he had lost all the weight he had put on in the last several years since he focused his YouTube channel on mukbang videos. Nikocado Avocado said that he had secretly shed 250 pounds in two years.
This is a considerable transformation since his previous YouTube video, published on February 6, 2024, depicted an overweight Nikocado eating a platter of spicy fire noodles. Addressing the viewers in his latest "Two Steps Ahead" video, the 32-year-old YouTube vlogger said:
"I am always two steps ahead. This has been the greatest social experiment of my entire life. It's worrying, it's compelling, it's gripping to observe all these unwell, disoriented beings roam the interest in search of stories, ideas, rivalries where they feel encouraged, engaged."
Nikocado Avocado before and after his weight loss
YouTuber Nikocado Avocado said he'd managed to "stay two steps ahead of everyone" as he returned to the platform to reveal his astonishing weight loss. Before he stopped uploading videos to his channel seven months ago, Nikocado Avocado looked overweight in his videos.
In an October 9, 2022 video, Nikocado celebrated his 700-pound milestone by eating $100 worth of McDonald's takeout and showing his belly. However, in his recent video, the now skinnier Nikocado appears, saying that he has lost 250 pounds. He said:
"Yesterday, people were calling me fat and sick and boring and irrelevant. People are the most messed up creatures on the entire planet yet I've still managed to stay two steps ahead of everyone. The joke's on you."
Because his last YouTube video, in which he was still overweight, was in February 2024, many believed that Nikocado lost 250 pounds in around seven months, which is false. Instead, he shed the weight in two years.
Nikocado also revealed that he made everyone think in the past year that he was still overweight, calling the deception a "social experiment." He continued making and uploading mukbang videos, but the said videos were filmed in advance.
Because of this, he made netizens believe that his weight loss process was much faster than it really was. Meanwhile, in real life, Nikocado had been trying to lose weight for the past two years.
For those unfamiliar with his videos, Nikocado Avocado started his vlogging career by discussing the benefits of eating vegan. However, in 2016, he decided to make a switch to focus on mukbang videos, where he ate vast quantities of food in one sitting.
