The OnlyFangs guild in World of Warcraft has become the center of drama after its members Twitch streamer Thomas "Sodapoppin" clashed with fellow streamer Jaryd "Summit1g" during a broadcast. The two were arguing over the killing of a guild member and Twitch streamer Sequisha by the highest-level player of the guild, Zeroji.

Sequisha had been facing punishment for "cheating" and disobeying the rules of the guild, which prohibits players from utilizing the in-game auction house or trading with non-guild members.

This article explores the circumstances that led to Sequisha being punished, and why an argument arose between Sodapoppin and Summit1g.

Exploring the drama surrounding Sodapoppin's World of Warcraft OnlyFangs guild

OnlyFangs is a streamer-only guild headed by Sodapoppin and features other content creators spread across four factions: Troll, Tauren, Orc, and Undead. Meanwhile, Sequisha is a Twitch content creator who was caught cheating on the server by bypassing the addon that prevented guild players from accessing the auction house to attain items.

While the typical punishment for such an act is being forced to delete one's character or leave the guild, the members decided to make a spectacle out of the matter and supposedly put Sequisha in a PvP free-for-all arena.

Despite Sequisha being expected to die in the 10-minute-long encounter, a deal was made that he would be allowed to keep the character but give up the gold he had earned from his usage of the auction house.

On the other house, members of the Trolls faction in the guild decided that Sequisha's actions could only be punished by killing him in-game. So, they hatched a plan along with Zeroji, the highest-level player in the guild.

Zeroji was recruited to kill Sequisha should no one else succeed. However, Zeroji decided to kill Sequisha six minutes into the originally intended 10 minutes of the challenge. This evoked a frustrated response from Summit1g, who believed that Sequisha's extensive 60 hours worth of effort within the game was taken away from him in an unfair manner.

Summit1g said:

"It's about not having the highest level on the server, putting in stupid f**king hours and efficiency to get there, on an easy f**king class, right? To do it as fast as possible. Jumping in there and killing the guy, that's what I have a problem with."

On the other hand, Sodapoppin believed that Sequisha should not have engaged in malpractice. The former responded to Summit1g, stating:

"It doesn't even matter... He shouldn't have f**king cheated!"

While trying out Valve's Deadlock, which is currently in early development, Summit1g had some strong words of criticism. The streamer said he "hated" the game and that it makes him want to play SMITE, another MOBA game.
