Loren LoRosa asked if the lawsuit was filed when reports of Sharpe landing a $100 million podcast deal began circulating. Buzbee denied this and even added that his team had been talking to Sharpe's legal team for a preliminary mediation since February 2025. Buzbee also apparently shared his take on the revelation of the complainant's name in Sharpe's recent statement.

In the X post on April 22, Tony Buzbee wrote:

"Tony Buzbee calls the inclusion of Jane doe's name & texts in Shannon Sharpe's statement an alleged "Attack on a young girl" and alleges the texts Shannon says she sent him were sent well before the acts being claimed in her lawsuit."

LoRosa even asked the attorney about the alleged video that was reportedly used to blackmail Sharpe. According to Buzbee, the video was shown during the mediation process. He claimed that Sharpe didn't want to see it and instead offered a settlement, which the complainant refused.

Shannon Sharpe's lawyer allegedly told Loren LoRosa they never saw the raw video in question

In a follow-up tweet to the first one, Loren LoRosa apparently reached out to Shannon Sharpe's lawyer, Lanny J. Davis. Talking about Tony Buzbee's claims that Sharpe's legal team had seen the alleged "blackmail" video, Davis claimed that they watched an edited version of the same.

According to Davis, they mentioned the gist of the video to Sharpe, who apparently confirmed that it was an edited copy and not the raw footage. LoRosa's tweet additionally stated:

"Shannon's attorneys alleged they then asked Mr. Buzzbee for a copy of the tape to determine with a neutral expert whether it was edited and he refused. Shannon Sharpes attorneys also alleged that Mr. Buzzbee has misleadingly disclosed the discussions with the mediator. Ms. Zuniga (the woman accusing Shannon of s*xual assault) demanded tens of millions of dollars in return for her not going public."

Davis allegedly confirmed to LoRosa that there was no final settlement during the mediation between the complainant and Shannon Sharpe. According to the tweet, Sharpe had claimed that every s*xual encounter with the complainant was consensual in nature, and nothing ever was forced.

On Tuesday, April 22, Tony Buzbee reportedly contacted several news outlets and shared an audio file with them. The audio was basically a conversation between the complainant and Sharpe. According to reports by Front Office Sports, at one point during the conversation, Sharpe allegedly said:

"Ah, lord have mercy. If you say that word one more time, I'm gonna f*cking choke the sh*t out of you when I see you."

Sharpe's lawyer responded to the audio clip, claiming he was in a rage and made remarks in the "heat of the moment." Davis added that the former NFL player did not intend to sound that way.

For the context, the complainant (Jane Doe) sued Shannon Sharpe, accusing him of s*xual assault. According to the complainant, the recent incident allegedly happened in January 2025. Sharpe had continued maintaining his innocence.
