The Valley and Vanderpump Rules star Kristen Doute has revealed that she is considering weight loss injections during her upcoming postpartum wellness journey following the birth of her first child.
During her recent appearance on the B*tch Bible podcast on April 22, 2025, Doute revealed thoughts about her pregnancy journey and expecting a baby girl with fiancé Luke Broderick. Doute explained pregnancy-related body modifications and emotional changes while describing her post-baby lifestyle.
Throughout her public life, Kristen Doute has candidly discussed her struggles regarding body image concerns. The approaching birth of her first child in June brings new body image issues to Doute.

During the podcast, when asked if she would use 'injections,' Doute stated, “I absolutely will.” Kristen added that she has “tried” injections in the past.
"It didn’t go well for me. That was Ozempic, I’m going to try something different.”
During her podcast appearance, Doute shared how she is already preparing herself to recover her identity following childbirth. Doute expressed gratitude for her body, but also expressed how much her body has changed.
According to Kristen Doute, she will take any weight loss medication, so she does not need to wear leggings for each one of her outfits.
Kristen Doute and Luke Broderick’s parenthood journey
The 42-year-old reality star went public with her relationship with Luke Broderick in late 2022, and since then, the couple has shared glimpses of their life through social media and podcasts. In September 2024, the couple got engaged in Hawaii after two years of dating and further announced her pregnancy in November 2024.
“After we got engaged, Luke, you basically straight up were like, ‘We’re not going to plan a wedding until after babies," she said on a September 2024 episode of the “Balancing Act” podcast.
Broderick added to the conversation,
“With our timeline, we should have a baby first and then start planning after that. I know that ladies like to be feeling really good in their wedding dress. After you have a baby, we will start planning for a year after that.”
In December 2024, the couple hosted a small backyard gathering where they discovered their baby would be a girl. The arrival date for the baby remains scheduled for June 2025, while Kristen excitedly shared that motherhood is something she’s been looking forward to for a long time.
“I didn’t really know what to expect. I don’t know if it’s my age or what it is, but I’m super grateful, super excited and ready for her to be here."
