Diana Taurasi is available to play for the Phoenix Mercury as they host the Atlanta Dream on Tuesday. The three-time WNBA champion was previously at risk of missing the upcoming game after she was assessed with a technical foul during the Mercury's previous matchup against the Las Vegas Aces on Sunday.
The tech was Taurasi's seventh of the season, which, according to WNBA policy, would have suspended her without pay for the upcoming matchup against the Dream. However, the league rescinded the technical foul upon review, clearing Taurasi to play on Tuesday.
Diana Taurasi was assessed with the technical for apparently yelling something as the Mercury dribbled the ball up the floor with 7:39 left in the third quarter. After the call, the veteran guard argued that she was talking to her teammates and not the referee. The league agreed with her claim upon review.
Taurasi concluded Sunday's game with nine points, seven assists, two rebounds and two steals as the Phoenix Mercury suffered a 97-79 home loss against the Las Vegas Aces.
