Game 2 of the Minnesota Lynx vs New York Liberty WNBA Finals series is scheduled for Sunday afternoon at the Barclays Center. The Liberty are trying to prevent an 0-2 deficit heading into Minnesota for Games 3 and 4, while the Lynx will look to steal another game.

New York was in the driver's seat for most of Game 1, but collapsed in the fourth quarter as the Lynx stole the win in overtime. Napheesa Collier hit the game-winning basket with 8.8 seconds left. Breanna Stewart had a chance to force a second overtime, but missed the game-tying layup at the buzzer.

Stewart also missed a free throw with less than a second left in the fourth period that would have given the Liberty the victory. It was a surprising blunder given that the 2023 WNBA MVP shot 84.5% from the charity stripe for the entire regular season.

Minnesota Lynx vs New York Liberty Injury Reports

The Minnesota Lynx and New York Liberty have no players on their injury reports for Game 2 of the WNBA Finals. Both teams will have a healthy roster ahead of Sunday's game. Minnesota endured a brief injury problem before the All-Star break when Napheesa Collier's foot was diagnosed with plantar fasciitis.

Collier was able to recover and play for Team USA at the 2024 Paris Olympics. As for the Liberty, Sabrina Ionescu dealt with a minor neck issue before the end of the regular season. She recovered pretty quickly and even helped the Liberty reach the WNBA Finals for the second year in a row.
