New York Liberty vs. Dallas Wings is the only game on the WNBA schedule for Thursday night. As the regular season comes to a close, these teams find themselves in two different situations.

Starting with the Liberty, they are on track to enter the postseason with the No. 1 overall seed. Their 30-6 record has them atop the standings with a three-game lead over the second-place Minnesota Lynx.

Looking to get back to the finals this season, the Liberty are building momentum heading into the playoffs. They enter Thursday's matchup riding a four-game winning streak.

As for the Wings, they are on the opposite end of the standings. They have the second-lowest win total in the league this season (nine), ahead of only the LA Sparks (seven).

In their final regular-season games, Dallas is looking to put end their losing skid. As they prepare for another matchup with the Liberty, they are on the wrong end of a five-game losing streak. The Wings haven't won a game since Aug. 30, when they pulled off a massive upset on the Lynx.
