Angel Reese confirms she is single, supposedly unfollows Jalen Duren on IG

Chicago Sky star forward Angel Reese recently confirmed that she's single and also opened up on her preference for her next man. Reese also seemingly unfollowed Jalen Duren, who was romantically linked to her this offseason. Duren plays center for the Detroit Pistons in the NBA.

On the latest episode of the "Unapologetically Angel" podcast, the 22-year-old star spoke about her love life to guests Latto and Mariah the Scientist. She confirmed that she's single, shattering rumors about dating athletes such as Duren, Kevin Durant, and Caleb Williams.

Reese also dropped a major hint on the qualities she's looking for in a partner:

"He has got to be tall, 6-7 or 6-8. Yeah, the NBA. What's that line? They be skipping practice," Reese said.

There's a limited number of players standing at over 6-foot-7 in the NBA, so Angel Reese won't have many choices. Jalen Duren stands at 6-foot-10, Kevin Durant is listed at 6-foot-11 but is likely 7-foot-1, and Caleb Williams, the Chicago Bears quarterback, is around 6-foot-1.

For context, Reese is about 6-foot-3. Her ex-boyfriend, Florida State Seminoles forward Cam'ron Fletcher is listed as 6-foot-7. They reportedly dated for a while before Reese announced their breakup in March 2024 before March Madness.

Reese was then linked to Duren this offseason and there were rumors that they vacationed together after the Olympics. They were also seemingly following each other on Instagram after Reese liked a post by the Detroit Pistons center. But there's new evidence that they might have unfollowed each other recently.

The Sky forward previously liked a post by Duren three weeks ago and hinted at loving people with the name starting with J in Kysre Gondrezick's post. Gondrezick is the girlfriend of Jaylen Brown and a former teammate of Reese in Chicago.

Why was Angel Reese linked to Kevin Durant?

In addition to Jalen Duren, Angel Reese was also linked to Kevin Durant this offseason. They were seen together at the O2 Arena in London, England in late July to cheer the women's Team USA in their exhibition game against Germany.

People on the internet quickly jumped to the two stars dating each other even though they were with Steph Curry and Jasmin Reed. Curry and Durant were teammates in Team USA for the Olympics, as well as with the Golden State Warriors from 2016 to 2019.

Reed, on the other hand, is one of Reese's best friends and a former track and field star for the University of Oregon. She also went viral this summer since she was with the LSU product in Paris, going to places such as the Eiffel Tower and Disney Land.
