Chicago Sky rookie Angel Reese endured another rough shooting game during the 90-71 blowout loss against defending champions Las Vegas Aces at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Tuesday.
The former LSU standout struggled to find her rhythm early and remained scoreless throughout the first quarter, contributing to Chicago's offensive struggles. She attempted three shots, including one from beyond the arc, but failed to convert any. Despite her shooting woes, the one-time WNBA All-Star managed to pull down four rebounds in the opening period.
Reese finally got on the scoreboard in the second quarter, contributing five points, including three successful free throws.
At halftime, Reese had tallied five points, shooting 1-of-5 from the field, including 0-of-1 from beyond the arc. She was 3-of-4 from the free throw line as well. The rookie continued to dominate the glass, securing eight rebounds and dishing out two assists in the first half.

Reese returned with renewed energy in the third quarter, delivering a stronger performance. She shot 3-of-6 from the field, adding six points in the period. She notched her 25th double-double of the season with another solid performance on the glass.
In the fourth quarter, the WNBA All-Star managed only a single point, earned from the free throw line. The rookie attempted just one shot.
Reese finished with 12 points on 4-of-12 shooting from the field, including 0-of-1 from 3-point range. She scored four points from the free throw line, making 4-of-7 attempts. Along with her scoring, the former LSU standout grabbed 16 rebounds, handed out three assists and recorded two steals in 31:03 minutes of play. Reese ended the game with a plus/minus of -16.
