Angel Reese shuts down reporter asking her about breaking records
In the Chicago Sky's first game after the Olympic break, Reese had 11 points and 15 rebounds, eight of which were offensive. However, she shot 28.6% from the field and struggled throughout the game.
Reese, who has played 25 games this season, surpassed Sylvia Fowles for the most offensive rebounds in a single season for the franchise when she grabbed her sixth against the Mercury.
Fowles recorded 117 rebounds during the 2013 WNBA season. Reese had 120 by the end of the game.
However, her achievement was marred by the team's loss. When a reporter asked her about surpassing Fowles, Reese replied:
"I don't wanna hear about a record."
Reese is averaging 13.4 points, 12.0 rebounds and 1.4 steals per game this season.
