Rookie Angel Reese erupted with a huge double-double performance in Chicago Sky's 92-78 home win against the league's bottom-ranked LA Sparks at Wintrust Arena in Chicago, Illinois, on Friday. Reese continued to struggle from the floor as three of her first four shot attempts resulted in zero points.

The rookie attempted four shots in the first quarter, converting just one. However, the one-time WNBA All-Star still managed to contribute two points and three rebounds in the opening period.

Angel Reese returned from the halftime break with determination and displayed great aggression on the offensive end. The talented rookie exploded with 11 points in the third quarter, shooting 3-of-6 from the field, helping the Sky build a commanding lead heading into the fourth quarter.

Reese entered the final quarter on the verge of another double-double and quickly secured her 10th rebound, marking her 26th double-double of the season. Moreover, the rookie also made a three-point shot in the final period of the game.

She ended the game with 24 points on 9-of-15 shooting, including 1-of-3 from beyond the arc. She also pulled down 12 rebounds, five of them on the offensive glass, and made all five of her free throws.
