On Thursday, Breanna Stewart attended Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade alongside Jonquel Jones and Betnijah Laney. New York Liberty's Twitter handle posted pictures of their players attending the event on social media.
New York Liberty captioned the post:
"Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade ready."
In the first picture, Stewart is standing beside Jones and Laney. The group posed for the camera while dressed in mufflers and sweaters. They also carried umbrellas to beat the poor weather conditions and enjoy the parade.
The second picture shows Liberty's mascot, "Ellie the Elephant," at the event. Stewart also posted images from the event on her personal Instagram handle.
In one story, she uploaded a picture of a Spiderman mascot from the Thanksgiving parade and captioned the post:
"Collab we didn't know we needed!!!"
Last season, Stewart led the Liberty to their first championship after they beat the Minnesota Lynx with a 3-2 record.
Breanna Stewart visits Spain with her wife to spend her offseason
Breanna Stewart visited Spain with her wife for a much-needed break after a season full of hard work. On Nov. 14, the Liberty star posted pictures on her Instagram account from her trip to a vineyard and captioned the post:
"Fine wine all offszn long."
The first entry on the post showed Stewart sitting across a table with several empty wine glasses placed on the table. The next few pictures were of the wine barrels and the brewery where the wine was made. The Liberty star tagged Spain in the location.
Another picture showed Stewart standing in front of a wine cellar with wine bottles stacked on racks on her right and left. The last two pictures featured Stewart's wife, Marta Xargay. In one picture, Xargay replicated the Liberty star sitting across the table with empty wine glasses on the table.
