WNBA legend Candace Parker has pinpointed one area of Caitlin Clark’s game that needs improving. Parker gave Clark props for growing into the role of a ‘floor general’ in her first year. She acknowledged that Clark makes her teammates better and has been impressed by the connection between Clark and Aliyah Boston.

However, Clark still needs to work on a few things to take another leap. Parker pinpointed two areas of improvement for Clark while speaking to Jemele Hill on Saturday.

“The thing about Caitlin, yeah, she can shoot from the logo," Parker said. "But, she makes her team better. And, so I think just in terms for her it’s gonna be moving, what are you doing without the ball in your hands and I think taking care of the wall.”

Host Jemele Hill also said that she was impressed by Caitlin Clark’s vision before pointing toward her 10-turnover game. Parker defended Clark, saying that turnovers are a part of the game and represent a learning curve for young stars.

Clark got off to a hot start this season, averaging 19.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 9.3 assists through four games. Unfortunately, she picked up a left quadricep strain and has been out of action for close to two weeks now.

Caitlin Clark could return to action for Tuesday’s game vs the Atlanta Dream

Caitlin Clark last played on May 23 when the Indiana Fever took on the New York Liberty. In the two weeks that have passed, the Fever have seen its viewership numbers and ticket prices plummet. However, this tough period could be coming to an end soon, as Caitlin Clark is nearing her return.

She has missed four straight games but could be back in the lineup for Tuesday’s game against the Atlanta Dream, as per Alexa Philippou of ESPN. The Fever have done well in Clark’s absence, going 2-2.

Kelsey Mitchell stepped up her game, scoring 17 points in the win over the Chicago Sky and 24 points in Tuesday’s win over the Washington Mystics. Aliyah Boston has also been key for Indiana during this period, recording 15.9 points, 8.0 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game. Clark could be back, but there's no news on Sophie Cunningham's status for Tuesday's game.
