DiJonai Carrington not only knows how to play basketball at the highest level, but she also knows how to carry herself off the court. Since arriving in Dallas, Carrington has made sure to blend in.
On multiple occasions, the new Dallas Wings star has donned cowboy hats and boots for her tunnel outfit.
Her recent style choices attracted the attention of @leaguefits, prompting their Instagram page to pose a question on Monday.
"Would it be crazy to say DiJonai Carrington is the WNBA's Bruce Brown?" the cover image of the post read.
Carrington was amused by the parallel drawn between her and Brown, who won an NBA championship with the Denver Nuggets in 2023 and has been known to rock cowboy hats. She reposted the post on her Instagram Story and captioned it with a five-word reaction.
"Caption is crazy tho. LOL," Carrington wrote.

DiJonai Carrington played the first four seasons of her career with the Connecticut Sun. This offseason, Carrington was traded to the Wings in a four-team deal.
Last season, she won the Most Improved Player award. Carrington made an impact on both ends of the floor, leading her team to the second round in the WNBA playoffs.
DiJonai Carrington reveals the mood inside Wings' locker room amid bad start
The Dallas Wings' season started with very high hopes. After drafting Paige Bueckers No. 1 in the 2025 WNBA draft and adding DiJonai Carrington, the reigning Most Improved Player, they were expected to see significant improvement.
However, it has become quickly apparent that the Wings need more time to find their identity. After 10 games, Dallas has the worst record in the league at 1-9.
However, the losses haven't taken away the camaraderie within the locker room as the team continues to stick together. DiJonai Carrington appeared on a live stream with Courtney Williams and Natisha Hiedeman on Saturday and spoke about the vibe in the Dallas Wings' locker room.
"I think the locker room is one of the most important things when you're building a team," Carrington said. "Even though we’re losing right now, like, there’s no problems in the locker room. You're still like, 'All right, we're trying to figure it out'.
"We were talking about this today, it's not like 'Ugh, I gotta go to work.'"
After her breakout season with the Connecticut Sun last year, Carrington is again having an impressive season. She is averaging 12.6 ppg, 4.3 rpg, 1.7 apg and 1.2 spg.
