The couple began dating after Bonner was traded to Connecticut from the Phoenix Mercury and got engaged during the 2023 WNBA All-Star break.
On Monday afternoon, Bonner shared a post of the couple on Instagram which garnered immense support from their friends and peers.
Among the post's supporters were Bonner and Thomas' teammate, DiJonai Carrington, who shared a wholesome comment.

Carrington concluded her fourth WNBA season in 2024, enjoying a breakout campaign for Connecticut. The 20th pick in the 2021 WNBA Draft averaged career-highs in points, rebounds, assists, steals and blocks, averaging 12.7 points, 5.0 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 1.6 steals and 0.4 blocks per game.
She earned All-Defensive first-team honors and was named the WNBA's Most Improved Player.

The couple are enjoying their offseason from WNBA basketball, with Bonner set to enter her 16th WNBA season and Thomas set to enter her 12th, respectively. Both Alyssa Thomas and DeWanna Bonner are future Hall of Famers.
Thomas is the WNBA's all-time leader in triple-doubles with five All-Star appearances, while Bonner is fourth on the all-time scoring list with six All-Star appearances.
