Chicago Sky star Angel Reese shared a heartfelt birthday wish for her pet dog, Tiago King Reese. On Sunday, Reese posted pictures of her dog on Instagram and wished him a happy birthday in the post’s caption:
“Happy birthday 2nd birthday to my baby boy @tiago.king5.”
“You’re so big now 🥹 @tiago.king5 mommy loves you!”
Reese has had her pet dog, Tiago, since 2023, when she was still playing for the LSU Tigers. The Sky star posted a picture on Instagram when she first adopted him in September 2023. She introduced Tiago to her fans and made a separate Instagram account for him:

Reese is in her second WNBA season, and it has been far from smooth sailing for the LSU alum. She has made seven appearances, averaging 9.1 points and 12.3 rebounds while shooting 30.9%. Both her scoring and rebounding stats have taken a hit in comparison to her rookie year, when she recorded 13.6 points and 13.1 rebounds.
On top of her numbers being better, Angel Reese was also more efficient as she shot 39.1% during her rookie season.

The Chicago Sky lost Saturday’s game against the Indiana Fever 79-52, despite Caitlin Clark being out with a quadricep strain. On top of the loss, the Sky’s night got worse as veteran guard Courtney Vandersloot went down with an injury halfway through the game.
MRIs revealed that Vandersloot has suffered a torn ACL and will now miss the remainder of this season. The Chicago Sky announced the injury through an Instagram post on Sunday. Reese shared the Sky’s post on her story and wrote a heartwarming message for Vandersloot:
“Love you 22.”
The Chicago Sky are off to a poor start, having lost five out of their first seven games. The team is 11th in the league with a record of 2-5. On Tuesday, they will face the reigning champs, the New York Liberty.
