Kelsey Plum had a friendly interaction with WNBA's newest sensation Paige Bueckers after Friday's LA Sparks vs Dallas Wings game. ESPN W shared the video of their interaction on Instagram, and the fans quickly expressed their thoughts.
Plum conversed with Bueckers, laughing between exchanges. The two ballers shared a side hug before the Sparks guard walked towards the locker room.
One fan saw the interaction and drew similarities between the treatment Bueckers and Caitlin Clark receive from their fellow peers.
"They treat Paige like Steph and Caitlin like LeBron," the fan commented.
Other fans joined the bandwagon, highlighting the likability of the Wings rookie.
"Everyone loves Paige.... she trying to secure a new team when he 3rd year is up....purple Paige purple," one fan said.
"Paige’s energy and attitude is so chill.. she is exactly what this league needs," another fan said.

Fans expressed their thoughts after the LA Sparks shared the video on X, formerly Twitter.
"That’s cool I wish someone had done that for Caitlin but alas," one fan said.
"Caitlin didn’t get this. Keep posting dumb shit wanting attention," another fan said.
"They did it to break CC spirit and turn her into a leftist activist and it worked," another fan said.
The Paige Bueckers-less Wings had a poor showing against the Sparks on Friday. Only DiJonai Carrington scored in double digits (16 points) on the starting lineup as the Sparks won 93-79.
"What the f*** is going on?": Kelsey Plum shares her thoughts on conversation with Paige Bueckers
The interaction between Sparks star Kelsey Plum and Wings rookie Paige Bueckers is going viral. Many outlets have shared the video on social media. However, not all outlets have posted an extended version of the event where Plum shares her thoughts on her conversation with the rookie.
After Bueckers seemingly talked trash with the two-time All-Star, the Sparks guard said that she would remember the day and started walking towards the locker room. On her way, she offered her generalized opinion on Bueckers' rookie batch.
"Rookie talking s**t is crazy. These rookies are built different here," Plum said. "They don't even carry their loops anymore, what the f**k is going on?"
In Friday's game, Plum assumed more of a playmaker role than a scorer. She set up her teammates for good looks, let them do the work and led their team to victory. She ended the night with 11 points, five rebounds and nine assists.
