In the first half of the season, how Caitlin Clark was being treated by other players was a major topic in the WNBA. As the action resumes, one person with claimed inside knowledge shared his thoughts on the situation.
Following her historic run in college, Clark entered the league with massive amounts of hype. The No. 1 pick has lived up to expectations thus far, but there have been some hiccups. Primarily, other players in the league are taking shots at her physically and/or verbally.
During a recent podcast appearance, YouTuber "Sniper Jones" opened up on Caitlin Clark. He claimed that he knows WNBA players and that the jealousy stems from all the attention she's gotten since day one.
"I know WNBA players too, really well, I talked to a few of them," Jones said. "I know you don't f*** with Caitlin bro."
"She got the attention of the nation bro."
Clark has played so well that many argue she should have been chosen for Team USA in the Summer Olympics. The Indiana Fever guard was named an All-Star in her first season.
Through her first 26 games in the WNBA, Clark has averaged 17.1 points, 5.8 rebounds and 8.2 assists.
