The Calicut Heroes will have one eye on ending their league stage campaign on a winning note when they face off against the Ahmedabad Defenders in match number twelve of the RuPay Pro Volleyball League 2019 at the Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium in Kochi, Kerala.
The Heroes, full of confidence, have enjoyed an unparalleled start to the inaugural season with four wins in four matches while the Ahmedabad Defenders are yet to register a victory in this season, having lost both their matches so far.
Match Overview
Led by an impressive show from skipper Jerome Vinith, who has notched up 52 points from 4 matches, the Heroes have stamped their dominance in style across all four of their matches, leading up to their final league game.
However, the real spotlight has truly fallen on the 'Hydrogen Boy' Ajith Lal C, whose powerful spikes have found no answer from the opposition blockers. The Heroes' attacker has 61 points from four matches and will yet again be in focus against the wounded Defenders.
