Mick Foley has been one of the marquee names in professional wrestling for decades. The WWE legend recently decided to make a big revelation involving an AEW veteran.
The star in question is Jeff Jarrett. During a conversation with former WWE Superstar Maven in a video on his YouTube channel, Foley candidly spoke about getting hit in the face by Jarrett with a guitar one time. He called the blow "crunchy" and disclosed that he was busted open because of it.
"You know, you want to hear that crunch, and it's like with the bottle you want to hear [shattering] right? You don't want to hear [plunk]. So when I took it [a shot to the head] from Jeff, I mean, I was injured because a shard had caught me in the nose, so there was a little bit of bleeding."
Foley added that despite the injury, taking a shot from Double J's guitar got him the reaction he was seeking from the audience.

"When Jeff hit it, it was a great feeling, because you're getting the reaction. You're like, All right, good reaction. This hurts, but it's not a brain-rattling, star-seeing type of thing." [H/T: Fightful]
WWE Hall of Famer does not want to see Mick Foley return for a match against a top AEW star
Mick Foley retired from in-ring competition years ago. However, on the occasion of his 60th birthday, he considered coming back for one final match, particularly against top AEW star MJF. The WWE Hall of Famer even revealed that he and The Wolf of Wrestling had a private meeting to discuss the contest.
On Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Time Machine, Teddy Long openly said that he did not want to see MJF vs. Foley. The Hall of Famer expressed concerns regarding the former WWE Champion's potential return to the squared circle.
"God knows I love Mick Foley, I have the utmost respect for him. But what Mick will do is he will get out there and he will give it 100% his all and all. And this is my opinion, I just don't think his body is in shape to be taking all that stuff that he took five years ago. But Mick will take it, and he will hurt himself just to prove to you that he can. I just don't want Mick to hurt himself, you know, trying to prove a point."
Over the years, Mick Foley's performances in the ring have been highly captivating. It will be interesting to see if he can pull it off one more time if the match against MJF materializes.
