A WWE Hall of Famer recently weighed in on a legendary figure's potential return to the ring for a blockbuster showdown against AEW star MJF.
WWE legend Mick Foley retired from in-ring action years ago, but he considered returning for one final match on his 60th birthday, particularly against The Salt of the Earth. He even confirmed that he had a private meeting with MJF to discuss creative ideas, including a potential showdown called “The Battle of Long Island” at the Nassau Coliseum.
On the latest episode of Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Time Machine, hosted by Mac Davis, Teddy Long expressed his concerns surrounding Mick Foley's possible comeback.

"God knows I love Mick Foley, I have the utmost respect for him. But what Mick will do is he will get out there and he will give it 100% his all and all. And this is my opinion, I just don't think his body is in shape to be taking all that stuff that he took five years ago. But Mick will take it, and he will hurt himself just to prove to you that he can. I just don't want Mick to hurt himself, you know, trying to prove a point," Long said. [From 03:24 to 03:55]
