Recent information regarding Jeff Hardy's contract status has come to light, following his brother's departure from AEW. It was reported that he may be on the way out of the promotion.

His brother Matt Hardy recently became a free agent after his contract with the Jacksonville-based promotion officially expired earlier this month. It was originally set to end back in March, but it was extended till early April. He just made his first major appearance, since his departure, at TNA Rebellion last night.

He confirmed on his podcast moments later that this did not mean he was with TNA already, and that he was still a free agent.

Regarding Jeff Hardy, the previously noted information was that his contract could get extended due to injury time. Fightful Select reported that this was not the case anymore and this could end sometime soon. Jeff himself has reportedly told other talents this was the case, during his appearances at conventions.

At this point, it remains to be seen if the promotion does indeed extend his contract due to the injury time, or whether they let it expire like previously noted.

This could mean that The Hardy Boyz may both hit free agency soon and possibly team up again and sign with another promotion.
