Jayson Tatum and the Boston Celtics are down 0-2 in the Eastern Conference finals against the Miami Heat. It is despite the first two games being at home in the TD Garden. However, Tatum remains confident about their chances heading into Miami for game 3 and 4.

In his postgame interview, Tatum commented about the Celtics' tough 111-105 Game 2 loss to the Heat. He doesn't like that they lost both games at home, but they will go into South Beach still believing themselves capable of coming back and making it a competitive series.

"They came in and won two games," Tatum said. "They played well, you give them credit, but we're not dead or anything. We got a great opportunity. I still have the utmost confidence, everybody has the utmost confidence. We just got to get ready for Game 3."

Jayson Tatum had another good game for the Boston Celtics, finishing with 34 points, 13 rebounds and eight assists. However, Tatum was missing in the fourth quarter once again. It was his second game without a single field goal in the final period against the Miami Heat.

Tatum also had a costly turnover with around a minute left in the game. He was called for an offensive foul as the Celtics were down 103-100. It's not that the four-time All-Star has been terrible, but he's been atrocious when it matters the most.

In Game 1, Tatum had no made field goals and had three costly turnovers. The Heat capitalized to take a 1-0 lead and it happened again on Friday. The Celtics will need to be at their very best to avoid going down 0-3 in Miami.

Jayson Tatum looked like his old self in the first three quarters of Game 2 on Friday night at the TD Garden. Tatum was getting bucks in and out, making plays for his teammates and even crashing the boards.

However, the fourth quarter arrived and it seemed like Tatum cannot perform when it matter the most. The 25-year-old superstar remains baffled when a reporter asked about what's happening to him in the last two fourth quarters against the Miami Heat.

"I mean, I had the ball a lot," Tatum said. "I was playing more point and making plays. I mean, obviously, I draw a lot of attention, so I was creating for others. Sometimes shots just don't go in, but I thought we generated some good shots. I think we got some really good looks."
