The Gods descended on New York in a cricketing extravaganza on Saturday, as Warne’s Warriors beat Sachin’s Blasters by 6 wickets, taking a 1-0 lead in the series.

The pretzel-chewing, nachos and hot dog-snacking American public were treated to a great match, an experience which they enjoyed immensely. They chanted Sachin’s name in unison, “Sachin for President,” read one banner.
