South African batter Aiden Markram and Australia's Usman Khawaja will be up against each other as the two nations face off in the World Test Championship (WTC) 2025 final. The WTC 2025 final begins on Wednesday, June 11, and is set to be played at Lord's, London.

Aiden Markram made his Test debut in 2017 against Bangladesh and has featured in 45 Tests for South Africa so far. The last Test that he played was against Pakistan in Cape Town earlier this year.

Usman Khawaja played his first Test for Australia in 2011 against England. Khawaja has played 80 Tests for Australia in his international career, with the last being against Sri Lanka at Galle this year.

Both batters are likely to open the batting for their respective nations in the WTC 2025 final. While Australia are the defending champions, having won the final of the previous edition, this is the first time South Africa have made it to the final.
