Chris Gayle has missed RCB's match against MI last night as he has flown back home to be with his family. Gayle, who is now with his partner Natasha Berridge after she has given birth to their child, recently uploaded this photo on his Instagram account.
Gayle had earlier posted another photo of himself on Instagram along with the caption 'I'm on my way, Baby' when he had boarded the flight back home. RCB starlet Sarfaraz Khan had confirmed the news when he said in a press conference, "Gayle has become a father, so he has gone home to visit his family and son."

Gayle will also miss the next match against the Rising Pune Supergiants in Pune on April 22 and is expected to rejoin the squad on the 25th. He will hope for a turnaround in his fortunes as he has failed to light up the tournament so far with scores of 1 and 0 in the two matches he has played.
Gayle is the fifth highest run-getter in the IPL with 3200 runs from 84 matches at an average of 45.07 and a strike-rate of 152.96. He has had a great year personally having just won the World T20 championship with the West Indies team.
He will definitely try to be among runs when he makes a comeback and the RCB will, as always, remain heavily dependent on him. The Bangalore franchise despite having the most talked about top four succumbed to their second defeat in three matches in this edition of the IPL. Kohli and company will need to turn around their fortunes soon and they will need Gayle to start firing.
