There were reports initially which suggested that India could cancel the Zimbabwean tour. But now the BCCI have released a statement saying the team for the tour will be picked on Monday (June 29). "A meeting of the All-India Senior Selection Committee of the BCCI will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, 29 June 2015, at the Hotel ITC Maurya, Delhi, to select the Indian teams for the forthcoming tour of Zimbabwe, which comprises three (3) ODIs and two (2) T20 Internationals starting from 10 July 2015," the BCCI said in a statement.

It was reported that due to some broadcaster issue, the tour might get postponed to next year. But it is understood that the discussions between the BCCI and Zimbabwe Cricket during the ICC annual conference proved to be fruitful.

Some section of the media also speculated that some top players could approach the board for some rest ahead of a gruelling season. "So far, no one has informed me about non-availability of any player," selection panel Chief Sandeep Patil told PTI when asked about the possibility of sending a second string side.

The team just suffered a 2-1 loss at the hands of neighbours Bangladesh following which there were calls for the captain MS Dhoni to step down. The tour begins on the 10th of July.
