Dwayne Smith was excellent with the ball for Gujarat Lions. He took four wickets giving away just eight runs in his spell of four overs. Jakati had a good game too.

Kolkata needed some splendid performances with the ball. It didn’t happen, though. It was an ordinary bowling performance from the Kolkata Knight Riders team. Gujarat Lions dominated right from ball one and didn’t offer KKR bowlers much.

Mitchell McClenaghan holds the purple cap with the most wickets in the tournament so far. Andre Russell stays at number five.
