Jonty Rhodes to do a short coaching stint in Sri Lanka

After enjoying a very successful stint with Indian Premier League franchise Mumbai Indians, former South African player Jonty Rhodes is all set to do a short coaching stint in Sri Lanka with their coaching staff, their players and other national, development and junior teams ahead of the national side’s home series against Pakistan.

Rhodes is expected to pass on his knowledge on fielding and the new techniques involved in it to the players. The discussions with the legendary South African for this short 10-day stint have been ongoing for a while and he has finally given his nod to it.

The Mumbai Indians under his watchful eyes won the IPL this season after defeating the Chennai Super Kings in the final.
